After a birthday wall raising party and a half a day off of work, the walls are up. I decided to frame the trailer 16" on center with fir 2x4s instead of 2x2s. The 2x2 lumber that was available was not good quality and I did not want to rip all the studs in half, due to uniformity issues. I only framed in one window in the front, and the rest will be cut out of the framing once I have the windows built and I can measure the frames. I decided to get the walls up quickly and think about placement of the windows while in the space.
I used a framing hammer and 3 1/4" framing nails and we hand hammered the whole house.
