Another piece of Old Growth Western Red Cedar from Sterling's Hoh river homestead.
For the majority of the project I used a gouge and a mallet. There were very few tools that went into this one. I focused on making clean cuts, one strike at a time.
This is the best perspective on the crouching figure, but a bit dark.
There was a gorgeous sunrise the other morning, so I took the opportunity to take a few pics in the morning sun beams. You can really see the rich color of the oiled cedar in these pictures.
