I finished building a crate for the new member of our family, Pyle. I brought him home this morning from a farm in Rochester. Pyle will be five weeks old on Wednesday. His momma got hit by a car a little over a week ago, so he's going to get extra love for the first few weeks of his life. He's a heeler/aussie mix.
He's taking a nap in his new house now.
I made the house out of the same tongue and groove oak flooring as the spice rack. I framed it with 2x4s and used the oak as slats for the crate. Bill Dawson helped me forge the hinges a few months ago. They finally found a good use.
Little Si and Pyle getting to know one another.
