Head Carving

I started this about two months ago and did not work on it for quite sometime.  I spent the last two weekends chipping away and I am about finished.  With the help of a friend I found a few branches of ash that fell after the ice storm this winter.  I carved this one up and here is the man that emerged.  I was thinking about making a big pawn, but it grew a nose and started looking at me funny.

I'm planning on bolting him to something at a park in Olympia.  Not exactly sure where yet, but a few hikes with Pyle should reveal his perch.

He's got one ear, a lot of nose and a mullet hairdo.
