Olympia Village Building Convergence

On the corner block of the downtown library, a little wave of Portland culture crashed onto the beaches of Oly. The first Oly VBC rendered community connections and creative construction. One of the two building sites was on between Fertile Ground and the Ecobuilder's Guild on the corner of Adams and 9th Ave. It was inspirational to see what can happen in a few days when people come together.

This fence was designed and constructed by many people, but Ramone "the twisted twigster" from Wild Thyme Farm was a driving force. The urbanite sun is a wonderful addition to an inviting entrance.

The street mural was repainted with the aid of paint mix master Joseph Becker. Joseph uses all natural paints with natural pigments.
